Virginia Lee Battle, 61 years old of Reisterstown, died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.

Born June 14, 1951 in Reisterstown, she was the daughter of the late Francis Cardwell, Sr. and Dorothy Regina Mitchell Cardwell.

She was a Laser Operator for Lion Brothers in Owings Mills.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Joseph N. Battle III, Kimberly D. and Kyle Parson and Timothy A. and Kimaada Battle, 4 grandchildren Taylor, Camille, Jason and Jamiya, sister’s Mary Jane Barlow, Marion Keeney, Margaret Battle and Nancy Allen. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her sister Anne Delozier and 2 brothers Francis Cardwell, Jr. and Ronnie Cardwell.

Friends may call on Friday, November 23, from 10:00-11:00am at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Rev. Louis Piel officiating.
