Barbara N. Opper age 83 of Owings Mills, MD. died Sunday Nov. 25, 2012 at the Manor Care in Catonsville, MD.

Born March 23, 1929 in Baltimore, MD. she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Evelyn Genevieve Lay Norbeck.

She was the wife of the late Russell Earle Opper who died in 1994.

Years ago she worked for Hecht Co. in the women’s shoe dept.

Surviving are her children: Debra Opper and fiancé Hassan Manafikhalesi of Owings Mills, MD. and Kevin Opper and wife Linda of Fruitland, MD. grandchildren: Genevieve and Nicole Opper both of Owings Mills, MD. Siblings: Louis Leroy Norbeck, Sr. of Jessup, MD. ,Geraldine Carroll of Glen Burnie, MD. and Wayne Norbeck of Baltimore, MD.

She was predeceased by sister: Edith Onsurez.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd., Owings Mills, MD. with prayers on Wednesday at 10:00am.

Interment in Lakeview Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
