Ada Margaret Snyder, 89, of Manchester died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at her residence.
Born June 2, 1921 in Colgate, she was the daughter of the late George Strobel and Anna Gibson Strobel. She was the wife of the late Donald Ellsworth Snyder, her husband of 36 years, who died on November 20, 1978.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her daughter and son in law Anna and Carl Welsh, Sr. of Manchester; her grandchildren and spouses Rev. Beverly and Michael Cotner of Turbotville, PA and Kenneth and Jennie Welsh of Westminster; her granddaughter in law Mary Welsh of Hanover, PA; and her 6 great grandsons.
She was predeceased by her grandson Carl Welsh, Jr., her sisters Lillian Salamony and Helen Ermer, and her brother William Strobel.
The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Matthew Schenning officiating.
Interment will be in New Lutheran Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 739, Manchester, MD 21102.
