Adolph Anthony Krizek, 97, of Silver Spring, formally of Baltimore, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Renaissance Gardens in Silver Spring.

Born May 10, 1913 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Rose Sykora Krizek. He was the husband of Elizabeth Antoinette Soul Krizek, his wife of 68 years.

He was a member of 50 years and a teacher of the U.S. Power Squadron. He loved gardening, woodworking, and various crafts all of which he won many awards.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughter and son in law Alice and Robert Bafford of Reisterstown; his son Dennis Krizek of Gaithersburg; his granddaughters Becky and Megan Bafford, Katie Wells, Beth Lewis, and Sarah Krizek; and his great granddaughter Sasha Wells.

The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday.

Interment will be in Druid Ridge Cemetery.
