Albert Vernon "Bud" Bucher, Jr. age 84 of Hanover, PA. formally of Reisterstown, MD. died Friday May 28, 2010 at the Hanover General Hospital in Hanover, PA.
Born Sept. 20, 1925 in Arcadia, MD. he was the son of the late Albert V. Bucher, Sr. and Lillie Grace Wildasin Bucher. He was the husband of Reba May Bosley Bucher his wife of 63 years.
Years ago he had owned his own plumbing business and was an inspector for Baltimore County for 25 years. He was a member of the National V.F.W. and the Reisterstown Vol. Fire Dept. He was also a Navy Veteran of WWII where he had served in the Pacific Theater.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a sister and brother in law: Catherine L. Isbister and husband Dr. Leonard Isbister of Sykesville, MD. and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive Manchester, MD. on Tuesday June 1, 2010 at 11:00 am. with a visitation from 10:00 am. until the time of service on Tuesday.
Interment will be in St. Pauls Church Cemetery, Upperco, MD.
