Alexander "Pete" Kromm, Jr., 85, of Owings Mills died Friday, May 18, 2012 at his home.
Born October 28, 1927 in Virginia, he was the son of the late Alexander Kromm, Sr. and Nancy Reed Kromm. He was the husband of Klara E. "Kitty" Kail Kromm, his wife of 63 years.
He was a mechanical engineer and a veteran of United States Army during WWII. He was a graduate of Poly and received his engineering degree from Johns Hopkins University.
He owned the House of Sound for 15 years and Photo and Hobby in Eldersburg for 9 years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed building and flying radio controlled airplanes.
Surviving in addition to his wife, a sister Nancy O'Roarke and his brothers David and James Kromm.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester.
The service and
interment will be private.
