Alice Katherine Dougans, 83, of Reisterstown died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.
Born Nov. 7, 1924, in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James G. Nunn and Nancy Moore Nunn. She was the wife of Ruben W. Dougans, who died in 2003.
Surviving are a son, Wayne Dougans of Reisterstown; and daughters Nancy and Betty Beyer, both of Reisterstown, Kathy Thornton of Hampstead, and Janet Eder of Glen Burnie; a sister, Virginia Smith of Westminster; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, with the Rev. David Gass, of Deer Park United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be held at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 16, at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills, where she will be laid to rest with her late husband.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
