Alice E. Hann

Alice E. Hann, 92, of Manchester, MD, died on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover, PA,

Born on November 14, 1929 in Greenmount, MD, she was the daughter of the late Earl and May Gummel.  She was predeceased by her husband, George C. Hann.  They were married for 62 years.

She worked at Black and Decker in Hampstead.  She also served many years of volunteer work at Trinity United Church of Christ in Manchester, MD.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Deborah Hann of Glenville, PA, daughter Gail Hallman and Rick Hose of New Freedom, PA, sister-in-law Dorothy Brothers of Westminster, MD, 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister, Francis Still.

Interment will be in Hampstead Cemetery, Hampstead, MD.

Viewings will be Wednesday, February 2, 2022, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 3 at 11 am.
