Allan F. Stephens, 81 years old of Owings Mills, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the Seasons Hospice in Randallstown.
Born March 15, 1932 in Media, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Roderick and Clara Evans Stephens.
He was the husband for 59 years of Florence L. Stephens.
He served honorably with the U.S. Army in Korea earning 3 Bronze Stars as a combat infantryman. After the war he joined the Baltimore City Police Department and retired with the rank of Lieutenant.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters and their spouses, Karen and Bobby Brown, Carol and Tom Crowell, 5 grandchildren and their spouses, Shannon and Chick Haines, Caitlin and Mike Klucker, Chris Bauer, Tom and Justine Bauer, Laura Bauer, 2 great granddaughters, Hannah and Colleen Haines, siblings, Alice Campbell, Jean Foster, Nancy West and Nellie Pfannestil.
He was predeceased by his siblings, William Stephens, Evelyn Ross and Ruth Jarmans.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday Oct. 2nd, 4:00-8:00 PM at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills where services will be held on Thursday 10:00 AM.
Interment in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
