Alma May March

Alma May March, 91, of Westminster, MD. passed peacefully Sunday march 18, 2018 at the Long View Health Care Center in Manchester, MD. Born Nov. 8, 1926 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Norman T. and Mildred Abel Murphy.

Alma was a cashier in the food industry for 25 years. She was a member of the North Carroll Senior Center where she enjoyed trips and being with her friends at the center. She also enjoyed going to Ocean City, MD, Atlantic City, NJ, reading and studying her Bible.

Alma is survived by her daughter; Nancy C. Seicke and husband Andrew of Westminster, MD, and son Michael J. March of Ocean City, MD. She is also survived by grandchildren; Shawn M. Nave, Jaime L. MacFarlane and Michael J. March, Jr., 5 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by a daughter; Donna L. Nave and sisters; Norma P. Murphy, Jean M. Efko and Betty L. Murphy.

The family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, on Friday March 23, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Hampstead Cemetery.
