Alvin Leroy Steger age 73 of Manchester, MD. died Friday Sept. 6, 2013 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD.
Born Jan. 6, 1940 in Manchester, MD. he was the son of the late Alvin Clarence and Lettie Irene Zepp Steger. He was the husband of the late Ruth Ann Smith Steger who died in 1999.
He was a retired warehouse manager for Black & Decker. Years ago he worked for Dutters of Manchester for 30 years.
He is survived by his sons: Randy A. Steger and wife Carol of Littlestown, PA., Rusty L. Steger of Manchester, MD. and Rodney W. Steger and wife Lex of South Point, NC. . grandchildren: Ruth A. and Riley A. Steger both of Littlestown, PA. and sister: Doris Gouker of Hanover, PA.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Westminster American Legion Hall, 2 Sycamore St., Westminster, MD. 21157 on Saturday Sept. 14, 2013 from 7:00-11:00pm.
