Ambrose Thomas Beyer, 61, of Glen Burnie, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore.
Born March 6, 1948, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Adam Thomas and Albertha Roselee Stockum Beyer.
He was a former security guard for Random House in Westminster.
He was a member of the Liberty Road, Anne Arundel and Powhatan volunteer fire companies.
Surviving is his son, Randy Alan Beyer, of Baltimore; and his brothers William Beyer, of Reisterstown, and Robert, Gary, and Edward Beyer, all of Glen Burnie.
He was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Beyer.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville.
