Andrew N. "Andy" Abel, Jr., 35, of Northeast died Tuesday January 25, 2011 at Union Hospital in Elkton.
Born July 14, 1975 in Baltimore, he was the son of Andrew N. Abel, Sr. of Northeast and Kathryn R. and Robert E. Rohrbaugh of Fawn Grove, PA.
He was a student at Kennard Dale High School where he was involved with wrestling and football.
Surviving in addition to his parents is a brother Adam Michael Abel of Dover, DE; a sister Allisha K. Abel of Craley, PA; his step sisters Deanna Miller of York, PA and Lorie Rohrbaugh of Red Lion, PA; his foster brother Michael Meyers; his grandparents Jack and Rubye Kosko of Woodstock; and also survived by other family and friends.
The family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Terrence Alspaugh officiating.
Interment will be in the Granite Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Granite.
