Anita Genevieve Blake

Anita Genevieve Blake, 66, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Born on March 25, 1956, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Oliver L. Beck and Mary E. Beck née Murphy. She was the beloved wife of the late Patrick Charles Gary, Sr., who passed away in 2018.

Anita was extremely kind hearted, and she would do anything for anybody, which was from her Catholic devotion. She loved her pets, especially her dog, CJ. Anita will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving her are her children: Chris Blake and wife Amy of Manchester, MD, Amanda Bortz and husband David of Westminster, MD, and Rob Blake and wife Heidi and their children: Reagan and Dillon of Hanover, PA, siblings: Larry Beck and wife Terry of Abingdon, MD, and the late Linda A. Beck, and stepchildren: Pat Gary, Jr., and wife Shannon of Edgewood, MD, and Tim Gary and wife Natalie of Bedford, IN.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, August 22, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102. A Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 23, at 11 am at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester, MD 21102.

Interment to follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville, MD.
