Anita Marie Reilly Healy, 83, of Manchester died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at home.
Born October 26, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Robert G. Reilly and B. Lillian O'Brien Reilly. She was the wife of James Leo Healy, Sr., her husband of 50 years, who died in 1999.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church. Years ago, she had worked for the CIA and Equitable Trust and had retired from Black & Decker with 20 years of service, where she had worked as a computer specialist in the Support Center in Towson. She had lived in Carroll County for 35 years, was a past president of the North Carroll Senior Center and Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Surviving are her children Anita Healy O'Neill, Patricia Healy, Mary Healy Shiner, Kitty Healy, James Healy, Jr., Mickey Healy, and Rose Healy Johnson; her sister Bernardine Gagliardi, her grandchildren Kristen, Lauren, and Jessica Schafer, Ryan and Stephen Shiner, Amy and Michelle Healy, Sara Leming, Katherine Healy, Emma McGill and Colin Johnson; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister Agnes Reilly and her companion Jimmy Cline.
The family will receive friends 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, with a Requiem Mass celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester, with her pastor the Rev. Fr. Michael Roach as celebrant.
A private interment will be at a later date in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery, Fullerton.
