Anna Zartler Brathuhn

Anna Zartler Brathuhn, 97, of Millers, MD, died on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at her son's home. Born on September 4, 1926, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late John Zartler and Anna Och Zartler.  She was the beloved wife of 53 years to the late James Wilson Brathuhn.

Anna was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed shopping, tea parties, her flower gardens, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her cats and her dog, "Puppy."

Surviving her are children: James Brathuhn, Jr. and wife Connie of Hampstead, Donald Brathuhn of Manchester, Susan Crowl and husband Kevin of Reisterstown, David Brathuhn of Millers, Joe Brathuhn and wife Susanne of York, William Jay Brathuhn and wife Sherry of Upperco, and Thomas Brathuhn and wife Melissa of Lineboro.  She is also survived by a brother: John Zartler of Rising Sun, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Anna was predeceased by her infant son: John William Brathuhn, daughter: Linda Kissinger, sister: Gertrude Simmons, and grandson: Jonathan Brathuhn.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 28, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, and on Friday, September 29, from 10 am, until the start of the funeral service at 11 am.

Interment to follow in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Reisterstown, MD.
