Anna Mae Franklin, 85, of Westminster passed away peacefully, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Dove House in Westminster. Born March 10, 1931 in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Sterling J. Greenwood and Margaret E. Greenwood, nee Coppersmith. She was the wife of Sterling "Bud" Franklin, who passed away in 1979. She attended Calvary Bible Church. Years ago, she worked for Black & Decker, and was an Avon representative, finally retiring from Hampstead Elementary School as a teacher aide while spending her time in retirement working for Stepping Stones Daycare. She is survived by her sons Mark V. Franklin and wife Deborah of Hanover, PA, and Jack T. Franklin and wife Amy Trump of Winfield; her grandson Dylan Franklin; her brother Gene Greenwood and wife Phyllis; and was predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law Sandra Payne and husband Bob; her siblings Joe, John, and Bill Greenwood, and Mary Rudisill. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the ECKHARD T FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester (21102) where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday.
