Anna L. Miller, 83, of Hanover, PA died Tuesday September 27, 2011 at her home.
Born October 26, 1927 in Hunfeld, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Maria Veltum.
She was the wife of the late Charles Oden "Jake" Miller, who died in 1990.
She and her husband were the former owners and operators of the Dutch Corner Restaurant in Manchester. She enjoyed off track betting, horse races, and going to the casinos.
She is survived by her son Charles O. Miller, Jr. of Hanover, PA.; her daughter and son-in-law Kathleen Ann and Larry Shaffer of Manchester; her granddaughter Elizabeth Hartlaub and her husband Daniel of Reisterstown; and her longtime friend Harry West of Glenville, PA.
She was predeceased by a daughter Patricia E. Miller and her sisters.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Gotwalt officiating.
Interment will be in the New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester.
