Anna Catherine Spencer, 94, of Westminster formerly of Owings Mills died Monday, December 5, 2011 at the Dove House in Westminster.
Born August 7, 1917 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Marion Doxzen and Ethel C.M. Smith Doxzen.
She was the wife of the late Marlin L. Spencer, her husband of 54 years, who died in 1991.
Years ago, she worked for 18 years for Baltimore County Public Schools in the Cafeteria.
Surviving are her children J.D. Marlin Spencer of Millersville, Joan Delores Kritsings of GA, and Catherine Faye Rosier of Westminster, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren
She was predeceased by her son Larry L. Spencer; her brother Thomas D. Doxzen; and her sister Elizabeth McCullough, 1 granddaughter and 1 great grandson.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Laura Easto officiating.
Interment will be in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville.
