Anthony Andrew "Tony" Anuszewski, Jr., 61 of Manchester died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Born January 9, 1950 in Baltimore, he was the son of Dorothy Lorraine Johnson Anuszewski of Westminster and the late Anthony Andrew Anuszewski, Sr. He was the husband of Sylvia Frances Dumhart Anuszewski, his wife of 40 years.
He was a member of St, Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, where he had previously served as an usher. He worked for R.H. Sheppard Co., Inc. as a Core Maker. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his dog Linus and studying Meteorology.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother is a brother and sister-in-law Harry D., Sr., and Carol E. Anuszewski; and his nephews Harry D., Jr., Michael R., and Timothy D. Anuszewski.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with a Requiem Mass celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, The Historic Church, 3071 Park Avenue, Manchester with his pastor the Rev. Fr. Michael Roach celebrating Mass.
Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Carroll County, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158.
