Antonia Elizabeth Conklin

Antonia "Betty" Elizabeth Conklin, 94, of Westminster, MD, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Golden Crest Assisted Living in Hampstead, MD.  Born on April 4, 1930, in Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Karl Alois Bauer and Rosa Neumuller Bauer.  She was the beloved wife of the late Roland Hugh Conklin, who passed away in 1975.

Betty worked as a sales associate at Belk department store in Westminster for many years after retiring from Port City Press in Pikesville, MD.  She loved to knit and crochet, was an avid reader, and enjoyed traveling, especially to Germany where she grew up and has family.

Surviving her are children:  Charlene Yinger and husband Scott of Westminster, MD and Michael Conklin of Gettysburg, PA. Grandchildren, Cynthia Freyne and husband Ronan of Washington, D.C., Nathan Conklin of Westminster and Steven Yinger and wife Jennifer also of Westminster.  She was predeceased by grand-daughter Christine Brandon of Westminster, MD. She also leaves behind great grandchildren, Marcus Jenkins, Alexis Jenkins, Aiden Brandon, Callen and Lila Yinger.

Funeral services and interment are private.
