Arlene Myrtle Nott

Arlene Myrtle Nott, 97, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at her home. Born on March 30, 1925, in York County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Morris G. Fair and Katie S. Miller Fair. She was the beloved wife of the late Harvey Henry Nott, Jr., who passed away in 2009.

For many years, Arlene worked as an office worker with Black and Decker. After retirement, she worked in Carroll County public schools in food service. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and Manchester Ladies Auxiliary Fire Department. She enjoyed working in the yard and gardening.

Surviving her are children: Sandra Bull of Manchester, MD, and Gregory B. Nott and wife Sue of Manchester, MD, grandchildren: Stephanie, Ashley, and Greta, and great-grandsons: Ryan, Owen and Braxton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by siblings: Earl P. Fair, Jerome Fair, Helen Thomas, and Stewart Fair.

Funeral services and interment are private.
