Arline Clawson Hodges Standiford, 91, of Cocoa, FL formerly of Arcadia died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at her home.
Born November 3, 1919 in Boone, NC, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Martin Hodges and Delphia Roxie Clawson Hodges. She was the wife of Ernest Franklin Standiford of Cocoa FL, her husband of 71 years.
She was a homemaker, administrative assistant, and a longtime volunteer with the Arcadia Volunteer Fire Department. She had been a resident of Florida since 1994.
Surviving in addition to her husband is her niece Shirley Mackley of Gettysburg, PA; her nephew Kenny Gore of Felton, PA; and also survived by numerous cousins and extended family.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon Wednesday until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with the Rev. Bryan K. Wintersteen officiating.
Interment will be in the St. Paul's Church Cemetery in Upperco.
