Arthur "Bud" A. Piccirilli, 84, of Glyndon, MD, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. Born on June 29, 1941, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Edward Michael Piccirilli, Sr. and Josephine Lucy Piccirilli. He was the beloved husband of 58, almost 59 years, to Paulyne A. Piccirilli.
Years ago, Bud and Stephen started a real estate appraisal company, and Bud continued to do appraising until retirement. He was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Baltimore, and a long-time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glyndon. He established the practice of placing flags around Glyndon for Independence Day, which is now a yearly tradition. Family was everything to Bud, he loved spending time with them and would do anything for them.
Surviving him in addition to his wife are grandsons: Luca and Marcello, daughter-in-law: Rebecca Piccirilli, and brothers: Charles and Michael Piccirilli.
Bud was predeceased by his son: Stephen C. Piccirilli.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, August 20, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 21, at 10 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (Historical Church), 63 Sacred Heart Ln, Glyndon, MD.
Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bud's name may be offered to "Tunnel to Towers Foundation" 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306
