Arthur Wilson Fadely, Jr.

Arthur Wilson Fadely, Jr., 79, of Laurel, MD, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. Born on October 6, 1942, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Arthur Wilson Fadely, Sr. and Margaret Lola Miles Fadely.

Wilson graduated from University of Baltimore with a bachelor's degree in accounting followed by a very successful career with the Internal Revenue Service, retiring after 33 years; much of the time serving as a Public Affairs Specialist spanning eleven presidential administrations.

Wilson was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing golf. He loved watching sports, especially football (Ravens), college basketball (Maryland) and baseball.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy, his brother Jim (Carol), daughter, Laura Harrison (Shawn), his 3 grandsons, Will (Kayla), Jacob and Matthew and great granddaughter, Maggie. He is also survived by his nieces, Karen (Dylan) and Linda (Ryan) along with 4 great nieces, Caroline, Audrey, Alexa, Freya, and friend/caregiver Lee.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, September 21, from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117

Interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
