Barbara "Bobbie" Anne Falco

Barbara "Bobbie" Anne Falco, 85, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Best Care Assisted Living in Reisterstown, MD. Born on April 3, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Anne Falco.

Bobbie was a graduate of St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing. She received her Bachelor's in Nursing from University of Maryland and continued her education at John's Hopkins University where she received her Master's in Public Health in 1967. Bobbie worked as a nurse in a variety of hospitals including Johns Hopkins Hospital and University of Maryland Hospital. She worked with the Baltimore City Health Department including the 501 Project. She became a Certified Nurse Midwife at Georgetown University. She provided women's healthcare at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, retiring in 1998.

She was an active member of Sacred Heart Church and often participated in proclaiming the scriptures during the Liturgy of the Word. She was also a Eucharistic Minister and assisted with a communion service for residents at Future Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Bobbie enjoyed volunteering and helping others in need.

Surviving her is a sister: Dorena Leiter of Sparta, New Jersey, and her dear friend: Mary Lou Stromer of Reisterstown, MD.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 26, at 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD 21071.

Interment is private.
