Barbara Joan Bosley

Barbara Joan Bosley, 94, of Laurel, MD, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Brooke Grove Retirement Village in Sandy Spring, MD. Born on April 17, 1932, in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of the late Robert Roy Monaghan and Ruth Agnes Wannall Monaghan. She was the beloved wife of the late Melvin Basil Bosley, who passed away in 2019.

Barbara grew up in Silver Spring, MD, attended Montgomery Blair High School and went on to have a successful career where she and her husband were active in their own real estate business.

She enjoyed attending baseball games especially the Frederick Keys games and was an avid Redskin fan.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, April 27, from 10-11 am at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will begin at 11 am.

Interment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
