Barbara Ann Drechsler

Barbara Ann Drechsler, 78, of Reisterstown, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at her daughters' home. Born on July 6, 1944, in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Cook, Sr. and Helen Cook (Baer). She was predeceased by her husband Lindsay M. Drechsler, Sr. in April of 2012.

Barbara enjoyed camping, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Lindsay M. Drechsler, Jr. and wife Marci of Reisterstown, and Judith Ann King and husband Brian of Upperco, grandchildren: Thomas Lewis, Jr, Andrew Lewis, Melinda Adams and husband Jay, and Chelsy Janney, great-grandchildren: Hailey Adams, Jackson Adams, and Lillian Adams. She is also survived by three sisters: Nancy Meredith, Arlene McCann, and Betty Lou Brown.

She is predeceased by five brothers: Raymond Cook, Jr, Franklin Cook, Sr, Robert Cook, Sr, Larry Cook, Sr, and Edward Cook.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 14, 2023, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD. 21117.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
