Barbara Ann Hook, 71, of Sykesville, formerly of Manchester, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Transition Healthcare in Sykesville.
Born March 13, 1937, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edna Wilson Taylor. She was the wife of Albert Kenneth Hook, her husband of 21 years, who passed away Feb. 24, 1990.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her cats and family. She was a member of the Rabbit and Cavy Breeders Association.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law Susan M. and David A. Noyes of Manchester.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, with the Rev. Thomas Cantville of Deer Park Bible Church officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park in Sykesville.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Animal Rescue Inc., P.O. Box 837, Bel Air, MD 21014.
