Barbara Kay Hornung, 70 years old of Reisterstown, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Future Care Cherrywood Nursing Home in Reisterstown.
Born June 9, 1939 in North Carolina, She is the daughter of Mary Smith Voss and the late Robert Voss.
She was the wife of the late William A. Hornung who died in 2004.
Mrs. Hornung was a registered nurse who had worked at Sinai, Union Memorial and other hospitals. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Reisterstown. She donated her time with the Maryland Special Olympics.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her sons Robert W. and Donald G. Hornung of Reisterstown. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Friends may call on Monday from 2-4 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills where services will be held at 4:00 PM.
