Barbara Ann Murphy, 82 years old of Reisterstown, died Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Seasons Hospice in Randallstown.
Born December 6, 1932 in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Chilson and Barbara Heidel Chilson.
She was the wife of the late Daniel Paul Murphy, Jr. who died in 1995.
She was a devoted homemaker. She also worked as a school lunch aid for Glyndon Elementary School. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glyndon for 43 years.
She is survived by her daughters: Maureen, Kathleen, Eileen, Peggy, Patricia, Elizabeth and Monica, brothers: William, James, Richard and Robert Chilson. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was predeceased by her sisters: Margaret Evans and Nancy Hartman.
Friends may call on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD. 21071. Rev. Msgr. Lloyd E. Aiken officiating.
Interment at a later date in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in her name sent to: Sacred Heart Church, Endowment Fund, P.O. Box 3672, Glyndon, MD 21071.
