Barbara Ann Price

Barbara Ann Price, 83, of Manchester, MD, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. Born on September 15, 1943, in Upperco, MD, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Heindel and Anna (Stiffler) Heindel. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert William “Bob” Price, who passed away in 2024.

Barbara and her husband, Bob, were owners and operators of Captain Bob’s Crab House in Manchester. She was a loyal member of St. Bartholomew’s Roman Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving her are children: Bobby Charles Price and wife Shelley of Eldersburg, MD, Patty Martin and husband Randy of Manchester, MD, Shirley Mangold and husband John of Gettysburg, MD, and grandchildren: Lisa, Brandon, Andrew, John Paul, and great-grandchildren: Flint, Sage, and Matteo. She is also survived by her sister: Judy DeVore of Pennsylvania.

Barbara was predeceased by her grandson: Daniel Mangold, and sisters: Violet Myers, Janet Heindel, and Norma Heindel.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, September 23, from 10 am – 12 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a prayer service will be held at 12 pm, with Father Collin Poston as celebrant.

Interment to follow in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
