Barbara Lee Rorke

Barbara Lee Rorke, 66, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the University of Maryland in Baltimore City, MD. Born on May 17, 1958, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Tweed and Edith Grimm Tweed.  She was the beloved wife of the late Marvin "Tom" Allen Rorke, who passed away in 2019.

Barbara was baptized in the Mormon church.  She had a bachelor's degree in Internet Technology and Cyber Security from the University of Phoenix.  Barbara worked as a bus driver in Baltimore County. She loved spending time with her family, and she will be truly missed.

Surviving her are children: Jessica Lee Price of Hopewell, VA, Jacson Allen Rorke of Manchester, MD, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Barbara is also survived by her sisters: Patricia Fisher and husband Charles of Westminster, MD, Cynthia Henley and husband Joseph of Hastings, FL, multiple loving in-laws, and significant other: George Brehm of Owings Mills, MD.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11 am, in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester MD.  A Celebration of Life is to follow at Lazarus United Church of Christ, with Pastor Rodney Gross officating.
