Barbara Elizabeth Steger, 64, of Union Bridge died Sunday April 8, 2012 at York Hospital in York, PA.
Born June 15, 1948 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Frank Lewis Pazdera and Helen Georgette Valis Pazdera. She was the wife of Wellington "Doodle" Ruby, Jr., her husband of 16 years.
She was an engineer for the former Bell Atlantic Telephone before retiring with 32 years of service. She loved her farm.
Surviving in addition to her husband is her sisters Linda Hooper, Beverly Smith, and Pat Randall.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with a memorial service at 8 p.m.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester.
Interment will be private.
