Bessie Olivia Rider Riddle, 83, of Reisterstown died Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Dove House in Westminster.
Born January 22, 1930 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Samuel Rider and Emma Jane Rider. She was the wife of the Charles Herman Riddle, Sr., who died July 2, 1994.
Years ago, she was a meat wrapper for Pantry Pride and Food Fair. She was member of the Reisterstown Moose and years ago, was a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are her children Charles H. Riddle, Jr. of Westminster, Karen Otto of Reisterstown, James Riddle of Reisterstown, and Joseph Riddle of Westminster; her 8 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her siblings Selena Bonner, Joseph Rider, Charles Rider, and Betty Jane Triplett.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Interment will be at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills at a later date.
