Bettie Ruth Talbert, 83, of Hanover, PA died Monday October 6, 2008 at her home.
Born on March 21, 1925 in Finksburg, she was the daughter of the late Howard James and Nettie Tabitts Martin. She was the wife of Louis Herman Talbert, Sr., her husband of 64 years.
She was a homemaker and housekeeper.
Surviving in addition to her husband is her daughters and sons in law Sharon Ann and Wesley Eyler of Hanover, PA and Bonnie Lee and Michael Couch of Davison, Michigan; her sister Dorothy Carpenter of North Carolina; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Louis H. Talbert, Jr.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with Rev. Timothy Kielley officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park in Sykesville.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
