Betty Phyllis Beck

Betty Phyllis Beck, nee Storms, 86, of Owings Mills passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Friday, February 5, 2016 at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson. Born January 26, 1930 in Lutherville, she was the daughter of the late Morgan E. Storms, Sr. and Erma Gladys Bull Storms. Years ago, she taught 4th grade for the Baltimore City Public Schools at school 254 and worked as an administrative secretary for the Baltimore Department of Economic Development.
Surviving are her daughters Diane Paulson and husband Jeffery of Cockeysville, Lois Dunbar and husband Seth of Reisterstown, and Elaine Filippelli and husband Michael of Parkville; and her 6 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Morgan E. Storms, Jr.
A funeral service will be held I p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where the family will receive friend beginning at Noon.
