Betty Louise Coghill, age 88 of Reisterstown, MD, died Wednesday Sept. 30, 2015 at her home.
Born August 3, 1927 in Maryland she was the daughter of the late Ira Edward and Dorothy Elizabeth White Chaffman. She was the wife of the late Edgar R. Coghill.
Years ago, she was a candy maker for Keys Candies in Pimlico and had worked at Small Farms Ceramics. She was a member of Hampstead Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter in laws, Connie Mathews of New Windsor, MD and Mary Coghill of Reisterstown, MD, grandchildren, Christine, Sean, Craig, Scott and Kristy. She was also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 7 nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sons, Steven Edgar and Leslie Ira Coghill, sister, Doris Hartson and 1 great granddaughter, Alexis Elise.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Oct. 6, 2015 at 10:00am at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102 with the Rev. Dr. Chris Brammer officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the funeral chapel.
