Betty Louise Dell

Betty Louise Dell, 82, of Las Vegas formerly of Manchester passed away peacefully, Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at her home in the loving care of her family. Betty was born September 17, 1932 in Greenmount to the daughter of the late William McKinley Smith and Martha Elizabeth Smith, nee Lohrmyer. She was the wife of Melvin Leroy Dell. She was a lifelong active member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manchester. Betty was the owner and operator of her own beauty shop for 40 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering and crocheting.

Surviving are her children Thomas LeRoy Dell and his wife Fay of Las Vegas, NV and Wanda Kay Weber of Knoxville, TN; her grandchildren Jami, Josie, Tiffany, and Robbie, her great-grandchildren Jacob and Daniel; her siblings Howard Edward Smith, Catherine E. Rupp, and Nancy Lee Rohrbach. She was predeceased by her siblings Kenneth Eugene Smith, Nelson William Smith, Ruth Ann Steger, and Helen Parks.

The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, August 17, 2015 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2015. Interment will be in the New Lutheran Cemetery.
