Betty Louise Hentzman

Betty Louise Hentzman, 91, of Reisterstown, MD, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at her daughter’s home. Born on October 17, 1934, in Reisterstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. Korman and Anna Marguerite Klingelhofer Korman. Twice married, she was the beloved wife of the late August Sankey Hentzman, who passed away in 1994, and the late Anthony "Tony" Richard Herrmann, Jr., who passed away in 2023.

Years ago, Betty worked for Equitable Bank and was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Surviving her are her daughters: Judith A. Hentzman of Connecticut, and Barbara A. Miller and husband Thomas R. of Reisterstown, MD; granddaughter: Eliza G. Wolf and husband Alex S. of Reisterstown, MD; great-grandsons: Matthew A. Nejfelt, and Daniel J. and Joseph A. Reitz; and great-granddaughter: Shenandoah J. Wolf, and her grand dog MouMou.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 21, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 22, at 10 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (Historic Church), 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD 21071.

Interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
