Betty Marlene Kincaid

Betty Marlene Kincaid, 93, of Hanover, PA, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026. Born on May 29, 1933, in Garrett County, MD, she was the daughter of the late George Ellworth Legeer and Carrie Arvilla Myers Legeer. She was the beloved wife of the late Delbert Lee Kincaid, who passed away in 2005.

Betty was a loyal member of Mt. Zion-Potosi Christian Church in Glen Rock, PA, where she enjoyed singing in the church choir and going to Bible study. She was also a member of the Society of Farm Women of Pennsylvania. Betty loved her Lord and Savior, her church, family, pets and all animals. Listening to all kinds of music, cooking for her family and gardening were things that she treasured doing.

Surviving her are children: John Charles Diesel and wife Rhonda of Seven Valleys, PA, Joseph Carl Diesel of Baltimore County, MD, Joan Catherine DeAngelis and husband Paul of Reisterstown, MD, Judith Carol Papas and husband Michael of Hanover, PA, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.

Betty was predeceased by her son: James Carl Diesel, and 4 siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00 am at Mt. Zion-Potosi Christian Church, 10730 Mt. Zion Road, Glen Rock, PA 17327.  A luncheon in the church social hall will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to Mt. Zion-Potosi Christian Church, 10730 Mt. Zion Road, Glen Rock, PA 17327 or to the Humane Society of Carroll County, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD 21158.
