Betty Marie Langowski

Betty Marie Langowski, 83, of Sykesville passed away suddenly, Thursday, June 9, 2016. Born August 5, 1932 in Painesville, OH, she was the daughter of late Lawrence Morris and Ann Randall, nee Schweickert. She was wife of the late Wallace Raymond Langowski, her husband of 47 years. She was a member of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church in Catonsville, the Catonsville Women's Club, and was a 1950 graduate of the North East High School, North East, Pennsylvania. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting prayer shawls, enjoyed bus trips, playing Bridge and Mahjong, and was very involved in her church community. Surviving are her daughters Ann Goluboff and husband Arnold, Elizabeth Stiffler and husband Troy, and Sarah Sheetz and husband Travis; and her grandchildren Kate, Maggie, Mac, Tristan, Kyle, and Justin. The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills (21117), with a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the St. Mark Chapel, 30 Melvin Avenue, Catonsville (21228); following Mass a private cremation will be held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel with interment at a later date in Mary, Queen of Peace Cemetery, Erie, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Langowski's name to the Emmaus Ministries Soup Kitchen, 218 East 11th Street, Erie, PA 16503.
