Betty Lou Hale

Betty Lou Hale, 85 of Hampstead, MD passed Wednesday Jan. 19, 2022 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.

Born Nov. 28, 1936 in Hampstead she was the daughter of the late Hershel James and Ida "Marie" Tipton Gill. She was the wife of 67 years to Joshua "Ed" Everette Hale.

Years ago, Betty worked for Black & Decker and Random House. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Hampstead.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son: Heath D. Hale and Michelle of Hanover, PA and grandson: Travis J. Hale of Baltimore, MD.

The family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD on Tuesday Jan. 25, 2022 from 9am. until the start of the funeral service at 11:00am.

Interment will follow in Hampstead Cemetery, Hampstead, MD.
