Betty Lou Reed

Betty Lou Reed of Manchester, MD, formerly of Owings Mills, passed away on November 15, 2023, at BridgingLife Dove House with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Edward Reed, Sr. who died December 19, 1997. Born October 18, 1934, in Johnson City, TN, to the late Benjamin Franklin McMahan and Helen (Dyer) McMahan.

Betty was a homemaker and caregiver and enjoyed Bingo and trips to the casinos.

Surviving are her two children, Edward Reed, Jr (Janet) and Susan Williams (Tim); two grandsons, Eddie Reed (Allison) and Jason Pistorio (Anjelica); and 5 great grandchildren, Taylor, Jack Chloe, Julianna and D'Angelo.

Betty was predeceased by her 3 siblings: Robert McMahan, Sara Larrimore and Charles McMahan.

The family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD on Sunday Nov. 19, 2023, from 1-3pm.
