Betty Jane Shepherd

Betty Jane Shepherd, 86 of Lineboro, MD. passed peacefully Friday March 3, 2017 at the Long View Healthcare Center in Manchester. Born Nov. 21, 1930 in Camden, NJ. she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Ada Barcklow. She was the wife of John H. Shepherd, Jr.

She was a retired from the Baltimore County Public Health Dept. where she was a registered nurse. She was a life member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Post 467 Westminster and a member of Lazarus United Church of Christ in Lineboro.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are daughters; Jane Hogg of Monrovia, MD. and Bette Shepherd of Lineboro, MD. and grandchildren; David Hogg of Frederick, MD. and Rebekah Hogg of Lineboro, MD.

The family will receive friends at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Dr., Manchester, MD. on Tuesday March 7, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00am. Interment will be in Lineboro Cemetery.
