Betty Lou Sloman, age 84, of Manchester, passed away peacefully to go home with the Lord, Monday, February 2, 2015 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born in February 7, 1930 in Deal Island on the eastern shore, she was the daughter of the late Sherman Todd and Bessie Todd Susser. She was the wife of William John Sloman, Jr., his wife of 70 years.
Surviving in addition of her husband are her children Richard Sloman and wife Jane of Hanover, PA, John Sloman of Owings Mills, and Barbara Litz and companion Carl House of Westminster; her grandchildren Kristen Saunders, Scott Ward, Travis Sloman, and John David Sloman, Jr.; her great-grandchildren Katelyn Kuhn and Jackie Barlow, III.
She was predeceased by her brother Sherman Todd.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, February 8, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday.
Interment will be in Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery, Parkville.
