Betty Charlene Walker, 75, of Hampstead died Monday, September 22, 2014 at her home.
Born November 13, 1938 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Blackwell.
She did domestic services for a sub contactor.
She is survived by a daughter Tina Louise Walker; her grandchildren Breanna and Kristin Walker; her sisters Barbara Bell and Patty Porcella; her extended family Michael Pfeiffer and Martin Hill and his wife Kelly; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by Sarah Louise Pfeffer, her life partner; her brother Charles Tracey and her sisters Geraldine Kakuk, Josephine Preservati, and Romilda Klusener.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester.
The family will receive friends 11 a.m. until time of service, Noon Friday at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.
Interment will be in Hampstead Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2002 Clipper Park Rd, Baltimore, MD 21211.
