Beverly Elizabeth Bradley

Beverly Elizabeth Bradley, 94, of Owings Mills, MD, formerly Glen Burnie, MD, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, surrounded by family in Westminster, MD. Born on September 21, 1926 in Skowhegan, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Fred Parker Sanborn and Jessie Carll Sanborn. She was the beloved wife to the late Howard H. Bradley for 31 years, who passed away in 2006. She was also the beloved wife to the late John Walter Riggin, for 29 years, who passed away in 1973.

Beverly worked as a cashier in various supermarkets for 32 years, starting her career at Penn Fruit in Glen Burnie, MD. She enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables and fruit, baking, knitting, crocheting hats, scarves and mittens for her grandchildren, crewel needlepoint, crossword puzzles, reading her bible, watching the Orioles and Ravens, watching bull riding and golf, and spending time with friends.

Surviving her are her children: John Walter Riggin, Jr. (wife Jackie Riggin) of Millersville, MD, Kathleen Shandrowski (late husband William Shandrowski) of Westminster, MD, and Beverly George (husband William George) of Glen Burnie, MD, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings: Brother, Parker Sanborn of Sidney, Maine and sister, Pollyanna Adams of Wells, Maine.
