Beverly Jane Shipley

Beverly Jane Shipley, age 81 of Hanover, PA died Monday Dec. 7, 2015 at the Hanover General Hospital in Hanover, PA.
Born March 21, 1934 in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Adelaide Lewis Diggs.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, John H. Shipley, Jr and wife Kathleen Helppie of Saugus, California, Douglas W. Shipley and wife Nancy of East Berlin, PA, Denise M. Schmidt and husband John of Hanover, PA, Connie L. Kolper and husband Dave of Hanover, PA, Jeffrey S. Shipley and wife Holly of Manchester, MD and Jean E. Kern and husband Calvin of York Springs, PA, brother, Melvin Diggs, Jr. of Baltimore. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by, 3 sisters, 1 brother and former husband, John H. Shipley, Sr.
The family will receive friends on Friday Dec. 11, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00am.
Interment will be in St. David's Cemetery, Hanover, PA.
