Bonnie Legore Ferrier

Bonnie LeGore Ferrier, 81, of Hanover, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Homewood at Plum Creek in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Born on March 1, 1941, in Hanover, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Ray LeGore and Mary Smith LeGore. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond LeRoy Ferrier, who passed away in 2019.

Bonnie worked as a supervisor of elementary education for 34 years. She was a member of St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, and she was an active member in the Friends of the Village at Carroll Lutheran Village.

Surviving her is her daughter: Jennifer Barnes and husband Alfred of New Windsor, Maryland, grandsons: Alfred and Evan Barnes, and siblings: Lawrence Jay LeGore of Camden, Maine, Regina Fuhrman of York, Pennsylvania, and Jennifer Lauer of Mooresville, North Carolina.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, March 31, at 10 am at St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, 700 Kriders Cemetery Road, Westminster, Maryland 21158.  Friends and family will be received prior to the service from 9-10 AM at the church.

Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, 700 Kriders Cemetery Road, Westminster, Maryland 21158.
